Adult Division:
Classes for adults are held on a semester basis, with 15 two-hour classes comprising a semester. Participants have a choice of Beginners-, Continuing-, B1-Intermediate- and B2-Intermediate to Advanced classes, each conducted over two semesters. A more intensive accelerated Beginners class(AX) is offered commencing July. This class caters for students with no prior knowlegde who wish to start mid-year.
The venue for the classes is Dickson College on the corner of Phillip Avenue and Antill Street, the entrance is on Phillip Avenue. Parking is available in front of the school.
Text books and other learning material
The Adult Division currently uses two text book series:
- Beginners Optimal A1
- Continuing Optimal A2
- Intermediate B1 Optimal B1
- Intermediate B2 - Anders gedacht
Fees
Fees for most courses are $320 per semester, and $579 for the accelerated beginners course held only in the second semester. The fees do not include the cost of text and work books and additional optional material, which you can order using the enrolment form.
Enrolment
Students wishing to enroll at the School need to complete an enrolment form. The 2011 and 2012 forms are now available at Enrolment Forms & Payments.
Lesson dates and times
Classes are held on Tuesday and Wednesday nights between 7pm and 9pm. In the second semester we also run an accelerated beginners course on Tuesday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

Additional activities
We also offer students from all courses our free conversation evening.
Once a month we get together to enjoy a beer, some food or just the company.
Instead we might organize some "German" activity (for example to see a German movie or to go to a German, Austrian or Swiss event)
