50th Anniversary Celebrations
On Sunday 19 October 2008, the school celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Harmonie German Club. Past and present students, teachers and other officials of the school were treated to an afternoon of activities and performances.
The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Michael Witter, attended and expressed his thanks to the school for its efforts in promoting the German language and culture. The Embassy also kindly donated a range of prizes for raffles conducted during the afternoon.
Proceedings at the celebrations started with a German-style barbeque lunch washed down by plenty of German refreshments provided by the club.
The students performed a range of entertaining songs and skits.
